When I was ready to have a 30'x40' shop/garage with 12' interior height built, I asked family and friends around the 100 Mile House area for recommendations for local building contractors, as we were new to the area. I contacted four companies in total for building quotes. Ralf at Most Wanted Contracting showed up to view the building site and go over my plan/requests when he said he would and received my building quote in a timely matter.
After going over the quotes from all 4 contractors and weeding through them, I had a tough decision to make. I've been around the block a few times and I know not to take the lowest price and certainly wasn't going to over pay either. A reasonable price and reasonable time frame is what I was looking for.
One of the things that stood out about Ralf at MWC was he said they would not start the job unless they could commit fully to the job and have a firm start date and an approx end date to be fair to me and his other contracts that were coming up. Just what I was looking for, as there's nothing worse then a company taking money up front, then not showing up on the date promised ( or at least within very close to date promised ) or jumping from job to job and not committing to dates and progress agreed upon. Last thing I needed was to prolonging my other plans and dates on another project I had going.
Ralf was up front and sincere about not going into a contract without both parties being happy and knowing how things will go. This sealed the deal for me. Ralf and his crew of MWC showed up on the start date he said and got right down to work. They showed up on time every day during the week and worked a full day. Weekends were family days and I understood completely. At the end of every work day, I would look over things and was impressed with workmanship, cleanliness and progress. Ralf kept me up to date on what was going to happen on a daily bases and they finished the job within the time frame we agreed upon.
Ralf was easy to work with and I would highly recommend Ralf and MWC to anyone looking for a general contractor without hesitation. Good job guys !!!
